Higher utilization of test fleets
The efficient utilization of test vehicles plays a key role in the development of ADAS and autonomous driving. As the robust removable data storage of the CCA 9010 product family can be exchanged within a remarkably short period of time and can be sent independent from the vehicle to the next upload station, our mobile data handling concept holds significant potential for cost savings. Vehicle downtimes can thus be reduced to a minimum compared to other data transfer methods.
In close cooperation with OEMs and suppliers of the automotive industry, ViGEM develops integrated hardware and software components (Car Communication Analyzer - CCA), which are characterized by enhanced ease of use as well as extremely robust removable data storage devices. For example, the SSDs installed in the high-end solution CCA 9010 with up to 64 TB storage capacity and data rates of up to 25 Gbit/s can continuously record raw data for approximately eight hours. They are thus currently among the most powerful mobile storage media devices on the market. Their shock- and vibration-tested metal housings withstand even the highest mechanical stresses and allow operating temperatures from -20°C to +65°C.
The optimum interaction of the powerful loggers, robust storage media and fast copy stations, providing transfer rates of up to 50 Gbit/s, ensures maximum data reliability and data security. Even the largest data volumes are thus available to the development departments within the shortest possible time, without the need for extended downtimes in the test fleets. The possible 24/7 utilization of the test vehicle fleets is therefore an important factor in the development of future mobility projects from a cost and safety perspective.
