MIPI A-PHY is an automotive-optimized, long-reach SerDes physical-layer specification of the MIPI Alliance. It was developed for ADAS, ADS, IVI, and other surround-sensor applications and transports high-speed data, bidirectional control data, and optionally power over a single cable. A-PHY is relevant for logging because it can be used to connect camera, radar, lidar, or display links in modern vehicle architectures.
