Measurement Data Format
MDF is the common short form for the ASAM standard Measurement Data Format, i.e., a binary format for storing measurement and log data. It supports multiple channels, metadata, conversions, and different sampling rates in one file and is therefore well suited for logging, replay, and long-term archiving.
