ViGEM-specific term for synchronizing multiple logger devices.
LoggerSync Protocol
In this context, the LoggerSync protocol is a manufacturer-specific synchronization method from ViGEM with which several data loggers can be cascaded and time-aligned. It is used to scale performance through multiple coupled loggers while the devices remain synchronized together. For distributed high-performance logging systems, this is relevant when data streams are to be recorded across several loggers using a common time base.
