IEEE 802.1Qcc extends stream reservation for complex and scalable TSN networks.

IEEE 802.1Qcc extends the Stream Reservation Protocol (SRP) approach for TSN networks. Among other things, the extension adds support for more streams, configurable stream reservation classes, improved description of stream properties, Layer 3 streaming, and more deterministic reservation convergence. For Automotive Ethernet, Qcc is important when reserved, time-critical data streams must be managed in larger and more complex network architectures.
