Data Sink
In the CMP/logging context, a Data Sink is the central receiver that accepts data streams from Capture Modules, stores them, or forwards them to further analysis tools. Typical Data Sinks are loggers, recording PCs, or analysis platforms that directly record or further process CMP messages.
