A2B® from Analog Devices is a high-bandwidth, bidirectional digital audio bus that simplifies audio designs. Using a single unshielded two-wire twisted-pair cable, it can transmit audio (I2S/TDM/PDM), control data (I2C), as well as clock and power over distances of up to 40 m in a daisy-chain configuration. In an A2B network, all nodes operate in a clock-synchronized manner, so that microphone and serial audio data are received simultaneously at all nodes.
