Back to the office

New daily office life: distance rules and hygiene measures

After more than three months of home office, steadily decreasing numbers of infected persons, and a gradual normalization of everyday life, we are ready for "Back to the office". At the beginning of the pandemic, we had to provide mobile working conditions quickly and unbureaucratically for approximately 100 employees. Now we have to organize their return to the office.

Under strict hygiene rules and with extensive distance regulations, we want to return to normal business, now. In addition to the introduction of a shift system, we have equipped new spaces with office furniture within a few days to set up additional workstations with sufficient distance. A comprehensive returnee concept should help to keep the risk of infection low. Our CEO Markus Trauth says: "We are in the fortunate position that production, logistics and equipment testing could be maintained even during the shutdown. Customers, partners, and suppliers were able to contact us at any time and we did not have any significant delivery bottlenecks.

Of course, ViGEM also has to accept economic losses and will try to compensate them in upcoming periods. Fortunately, we were not hit as hard by the pandemic as other companies. A big thank you to all employees, customers, and partners who supported us during this time.”.
