Editorial by ViGEM in the magazine e-mobility

In the current issue of e-mobility magazine, Bernhard Kockoth (Advanced Development Lead, ViGEM) discusses the need for reliable, high-performance data storage to reach the next level of future mobility.

In times of growing eco-awareness as well as changing behaviors in the use of public transportation, he sees a strong trend throughout the automotive industry to bring projects with robotaxis, autonomous shuttles and trucks as well as self-charging e-vehicles quickly and safely to the road. To develop the artificial intelligence (AI) required for these projects, enormous amounts of data must first be reliably recorded and processed. Due to high-performance removable data storage devices, our end-to-end CCA data logging systems enable the efficient development and validation of these new functions.
