An ADAS specialist's view of the advantages of virtual machines in ViGEM data loggers

The first thing I would mention is the creation of isolated environments. From my experience, I know how important it is to create isolated environments for installing debugging tools on Windows. This allows me to easily read and analyse the data, which is very important for accurate results.

Another thing that is particularly important to me is the direct reading of the data after the recording sessions. This is really helpful if I want to retrieve the data directly after parking, for example. With the virtual machine, I can access the data quickly. This improves the efficiency of my test process enormously. It's an important option to read in the data before it even arrives at the control centre. The pre-evaluation, the conversion to monitor certain events, the preliminary work and the pre-sorting - it's efficient and saves resources. If you don't do this via the cloud, you even save money.

Another advantage is that you can install your own functionalities. I can adapt the system to the specific requirements of the ADAS to be tested and ensure comprehensive and accurate analyses.

We utilise this function of the ViGEM data logger to its full extent.
